The People's Choice Awards are aptly named: Every single award that's given out was voted and decided upon by-you guessed it-the people. The whole thing is very democratic, don't you think? We think so. That's why we're keeping with that democratic spirit by doing a little voting of our own-but not about the best movies, TV shows, or acting performances (although, we have our opinions on those things too).
Instead, we're voting on the best beauty looks from some of our favorite celebrities. There were many we considered, but we managed to narrow it down to a cool 17. Keep scrolling to see the best beauty looks from the 2018 People's Choice Awards red carpet, ranging fromВ Kendall Jenner's editorial greenВ makeup to Busy Philipps's frosty silver eye shadow.

Kendall Jenner's People's Choice Awards makeup was unlike any other makeup she's worn before. It consisted of graphic green eye shadow onВ each lid, both aroundВ her lash line and onВ her brow bone. Another line of bright green was added to her collarbone. It was very artistic, editorial, and chic, if we do say so ourselves.

Camila Mendes kept her complexion fresh and flawless, adding definition to her eyes and lips with subtle taupe colors. Her look is a master class in sultry nude makeup.

Shay Mitchell is never one to shy away from bold color or beauty risks, which is why she's one of our favorite sources of celebrity beauty inspiration. We love her pinky-red smoky eye and terra-cotta-colored lipstick.

Alisha Wainwright's gorgeous curls were accentuated with a bold berry lip color, which looked extra glamorous and red carpet-ready due to its high-gloss finish.

Actress Emeraude Toubia opted for soft peachy tones to match her gold earrings and orange gown. We'll be attempting to replicate her soft and diffused smoky eye with Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Palette ($49).

Mila Kunis wears sultry eye makeup so well, as proven by her smudgy black eyeliner. It's a look she's worn many times before, but if it's not broken, don't fix it, right?

Here's another ultra-slick berry lip (are we sensing a trend here?). This color looks stunning against Amber Stevens West's gold dress and olive-toned complexion.

Even Posh Spice got in on the People's Choice Awards action. Victoria Beckham kept with her tried-and-true makeup look: a little bit of bronzer, subtle smoky eyes, and a swipe of nude lipstick. Could this be Charlotte TilburyВ Matte Revolution Lipstick in Very Victoria ($34)? It sure looks like it.

Jeannie Mai's red carpet makeup look is giving us major '90s vibes thanks to the frosty eye shadow and dark lip liner. We're into it.

Nadia Fairfax proves that no-makeup makeup can, indeed, be worn on the red carpet. The secret seems to be in her super-dewy complexion, which we suspect is a combination of an effective skincare routine and some well-placed highlighter.

And the award for most eye-catching lashes goes to… Danai Gurira. Seriously, though, her lashes are so dense and fluttery that they give a fanned-out, butterfly effect to her eyes.

We can always count on Rita Ora to look polished and glamorous at a red carpet event. At the People's Choice Awards, that meant bold lashes, smoky eye makeup, and lots of bronzer. Lately, we've been loving Anastasia Beverly Hills Powder Bronzer ($28) for a super-sun-kissed look.

Sabrina Carpenter went for a classic cat eye, wearing a thick stroke of inky liquid liner atop each lash line. Notice the subtle negative space on both of her inner corners.

Amber Valletta paired her classic yet glamorous makeup look with a deep side part and sleek, wet-look hair. If anyone knows how to look elegant while walking a red carpet, it's a famous '90s supermodel like her.

Kim Kardashian West appeared onstage with her famous family membersВ with an exaggerated smoky cat eye and a glossy nude lip. As always, her makeup was kept within the neutral range of beige, bronze, and black.В

Aly Raisman's frosty eye shadow and graphic black-and-silver dress made us think she was channeling inspiration from the late '80s/early '90s. Thanks to a sleek ponytail and a dewy complexion, it didn't look dated at all.

Busy Philipps was yet another celebrity to wear frosty makeup down the People's Choice Awards red carpet. It's official: This makeup trend is back and better than ever.
